The Department aims at high internationalization by:
- Publishing research in international peer-reviewed journals;
- Inviting Visiting Scholars and Professors;
- Activating joint degrees and Erasmus programs.
3. Position, requirements, topics, and scientific panel:
Position:
Postdoctoral Position
Requirements:
- PhD in Philosophy;
- Proficiency in English;
- The applicant should have international experience in research and a good record of publications in one or more of the following areas: Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Language, Aesthetics, and Metaphysics.
Topics:
We are interested in research proposals covering the following topics:
- The phenomenology of reading, fiction and emotions, text and meaning, philosophy of literature – projects proposals to be developed under the supervision of Prof. Carola Barbero
- The content and phenomenology of perceptual experience; auditory and visual perception; philosophy of sound; philosophy of music – projects proposals to be developed under the supervision of Dr. Elvira Di Bona
-Recent work on aboutness and subject matter; fictionalist strategies in the philosophy of mathematics – projects proposals to be developed under the supervision of Dr. Matteo Plebani
-Theories of intentionality and of the nature of mental states, notably perception, and their applications to the domains of depiction and fiction - projects proposals to be developed under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Voltolini

The next MSCA-IF Call will be published on June 2021 with a deadline in October 2021.
Drafting a Marie Curie proposal requires some time to be written and shared with the supervisor and the research advisors. Please contact us as soon as possible and no later than the 3th of June, 2021.
