Journal for Ethics und Moralphilosophy: Call for Paper

The Journal for Ethics and Moral Philosophy invites all philosophers to submit articles from all areas of practical philosophy for the journal’s ninth issue, which will be published in April 2022.

Submissions can be made in English and German. We are looking for research articles, research reports, and book reviews.

Research articles offer original research on historic or systematic problems in ethics and moral philosophy.

Research reports provide an overview of important works on much discussed ethical topics, including book reviews and descriptions of ongoing research projects.

Book reviews present discussions of recently released publications. The reviewed works can include new titles from other philosophical areas besides ethics and moral philosophy and may even come from non-philosophical disciplines, as long as they are relevant for moral and ethical thinking and reflection. Omnibus reviews of multiple publications will be given priority over single reviews.

The length of all articles should be between 7.500 and 9.000 words. Single book reviews should not exceed 1500 words, omnibus reviews of multiple publications should be no longer than 3500 words.
