LAST CALL FOR REGISTRATION
8th annual Conference by Women in Philosophy
25 June 2021
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 8th annual Conference by Women in Philosophy!
Given the uncertainty due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to host the conference online.
Our goal is to provide a platform for undergraduate and graduate philosophers with marginalised gender identities to present their work to their peers. In this way, we hope to create an opportunity for early-career philosophers to inspire and motivate one another and to forge potentially productive alliances.
Attendance is free for all, but registration is necessary.
To register, please fill in this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdmg8dRYl6hr8oIVS__y1Tfq7us6ZBk4GBLCMXIe3kHfyWDrQ/viewform
The conference will begin with two consecutive rounds of 5 parallel sessions, during which early-career philosophers will present papers on a wide variety of topics.
Afterwards, there will be a symposium titled "Structural injustice, domination and exclusion in academia". It will feature interventions by prof. Stephanie Kapusta (Dalhousie), prof. Kristie Dotson (Michigan State), and prof. Serene Khader (CUNY).
